| Timeline--in the words of EC Chron; 1922 |

Virgil Chron (22) and Nellie Aretta Jackson (17) were married at Howland, Texas. (August 16,1922) |

| 1923 |
|
|
|
 |
Dad and Mom move to Houston, where V. Allen was born. Mom names V.Allen after Dad and Doctor Allen. Dad was employed with Houston Electric as an operator on street cars. |
|

| 1924 |
|
|
|
 |
Dad and Mom and V. move back to the farm in Howland. Farming was not very good in East Texas. |
|
| |
| 1925 |
|
|
|
 |
Grandpa and Grandma Chron, Dad & Mom and V. Allen all move to Ralls. They bought a 160 acre farm, four miles north and two east of Ralls. Dad took the east 60 acres and Grandpa took the west 100 acres. |

| 1926 |

| 1927 |
|

 |
Born in Ralls, Texas on the little 60 on February 06, 1927. Dr. Haney came to the house. |

Joe Nathan was born 18 months after EC. Dr Haney came out. |
|

| 1929 |
|
|
|
 |
Stock market crashed and the banks closed. The bank Dad had his money in went broke. Dad and Grandpa lost what little money they had saved. |

| 1930 |
|
|
|
 |
Dad and family move to Houston--Dad went to work on the street cars. Bobby Thomas was born December 21st, 1930. He was named after Uncle Bob Roberts, Mom's uncle. (Uncle Bob was a Navy "Deep Sea Diver.") |

Dad still working for Houston Electric on street cars. |

Dad & family move back to farm at Ralls. EC started to school in fall at age 5. (at New Home, Aunt Betty was the teacher) |

Minnie Nell was born February 3rd. (dad took us to Grandma Chron's house. It was bitter cold!) |

Great hail storm and tornado! We move to the Moore Farm in the Fall. |

Wet year, good cotton crops! Dad buys 1st new tractor, F-30 Farmall with 4 row equipment. |

Ivan Lee is born November 21st. |

Dad pays cash for new ford V-8! ($900) EC accepts Jesus Christ as Savior. |

Fair crop but good prices! |

| 1941 |

Pearl Harbor, war, V. Allen graduated from Ralls High, good crops. |

| 1942 |

Good crops, Dad buys 1942 Ford V-8. |

| 1943 |

 |
V. Allen is called into Navy Air Corps flight training. |
|
| |
| 1944 |
|
|
|
 |
EC graduated from Ralls High and enlists in the US Navy. |
|
| |
| 1945 |
|
|
|
 |
War ends. Dad moves to farm west of Ralls and remodels house. |
|
| |
| 1946 |
|
|
|
 |
Coming home from the war. V. Allen marries June Reed and EC marries Melba Jo Reinhard at the Chapel of the Roses in Chula, Vista, California. |

| 1947 |
|

 |
Everett Clinton is born in Ralls, TX on March 8th, 1947. |

| |
| 1949 |
|
|
|
 |
Josa Jane is born in Crosbyton, Texas on July 27, 1949. |

| 1953 |
|
|
|
 |
Deanna Beth is born on September 15, 1953 in Crosbyton, Texas. |
|

| 1957 |
|
|
|
 |
EC, Jo and family head to Anchorage, Alaska. EC starts the Chron Motor Co.
Tami Gayle is born October 13th in Anchorage, Alaska. |

| 1958 |
|
|
|
 |
Answers the call to preach the gospel at First Baptist Church of Anchorage. |
|
| |
| 1961 |
|
|
|
 |
Moved to Plainview, Texas. EC and Jo enroll in Wayland Baptist University. EC pastors Northside Baptist Church in Abernathy, Texas for the next three years. |

| 1968 |
|
|
|
 |
Brother Joe dies in a boating accident in the Rio Grande River. EC is diagnosed with cancer. |
|

| 1973 |
|
|
|
 |
EC, Jo, Deanna and Tami move to Carrollton, Texas. EC becomes an evangelist. |
|
| |
| 1996 |
|
|
|
 |
EC and Jo celebrate 50 years of marriage. |
|
| |
| 2006 |
|

EC and Jo celebrates 60 years of marriage |
|

| 2008 |
|
|

 |
Passed away at Brookhaven Nursing Home in Carrollton, Texas on January 30, 2008 at the age of 80. |
